Shredder, known as Oroku Saki, is the primary antagonist in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie franchise. He is the leader of the Foot Clan, a criminal organization that terrorizes New York City.
In the Movie, Shredder is a ruthless and skilled martial artist. He is responsible for the death of Hamato Yoshi's wife, Tang Shen, and is the sworn enemy of Splinter. Saki is driven by a desire for power and revenge.
Shredder's first appearance in the Movie franchise is in the 1990 film, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In that film, he is played by James Saito and voiced by James Cummings.
